SERIS Program

Main content start

Stanford Engineering Research Introductions (SERIS) aims to introduce underclassmen, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, to academic engineering research and graduate school. SERIS is a 2-day program on Stanford campus including lab tours, student panels, and faculty talks. Program costs including travel, meals, and lodging will be fully covered/reimbursed. After participating in SERIS, students will gain access to a mentorship program through the Stanford Engineering Research Introductions Organization (SERIO).

Our main goals for the SERIS program are (1) to introduce participants to what graduate school research is and (2) to teach participants how to build a strong resume to achieve their graduate school goals.
