Melanie Murillo

Melanie Murillo is originally from El Paso, Texas. She received her bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently a 2nd year PhD student in Electrical Engineering, working in the Solgaard Lab. She is part of the Accelerator-on-a-Chip project, using nanoscale structures and lasers to accelerate electrons for applications in scientific research, tech, and medicine. Melanie's hobbies include playing basketball, volleyball, and being outdoors.
