Elana Chan

Elana was born and raised in Massachusetts. She received her bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering and Community Health from Tufts University. Currently, Elana is a third-year Environmental Engineering PhD student in the Boehm Lab. Her research focuses on applying trend analysis techniques to SARS-CoV-2 concentrations in wastewater to aid public health monitoring of COVID-19. Elana is supported by a Stanford CEE PhD fellowship. In her free time, Elana enjoys running, climbing, hiking, and cooking.
