Austin Patel

Austin grew up in Marin County, California. He is currently a first year Electrical Engineering Ph.D. student at Stanford University. His research in the Robotics and Embodied AI Lab focuses on creating a unified behavior model that can control a range of different types of robots with different hardware configurations. Prior to his Ph.D., he graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. In his free time, Austin enjoys running, skiing, biking and anything outdoors!
