Jun Yamasaki

Jun Yamasaki is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, presently rotating in the Flow Physics and Aeroacoustics Laboratory. Currently working on a project related to transonic shock buffet, he is broadly interested in computational methods and applied mathematics for aerospace applications. Previously, he was an undergraduate at Northwestern, where he double-majored in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mathematics. Jun is originally from Japan, and his hobbies include cars, planes, and piano.
